The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has amended the Companies (Filing of Documents and Forms in Extensible Business Reporting Language) Rules,2015. These rules may be called the Companies (Filing of Documents and Forms in Extensible Business Reporting Language) Amendment Rules, 2016. The Ministry has added Housing Finance Companies in purview of exemption. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Amendment:
In the Companies (Filing of Documents and Forms in Extensible Business Reporting Language) Rules,2015, in rule 3, for the proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted:
"Provided that the companies in banking, insurance, power sector, non-banking financial companies and housing finance companies need not file financial statements under this rule."
MCA:
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has modified the e-Form INC-2, INC-7, INC-29, MGT-10, FTE, PAS-3. The new version of e-form INC-2 (One Person Company- Application for Incorporation), INC-7 (Application for Incorporation of Comapny (Other than OPC)), INC-29 (Integrated Incorporation Form), MGT-10 (Changes in shareholding position of promoters and top ten shareholders), PAS-3 (Return of allotment) and FTE (Application for striking off the name of company under the Fast Track Exit (FTE) Mode) available w.e.f. 8th April, 2016. Only new version of the e-Form will be acceptable and Stakeholders are requested to plan accordingly.
