As per the provision of Companies Act, 2013 Companies are required to file Financial Accounts & Annual Return with in 30 days & 60 days of conclusion of AGM or the last date on which AGM ought to have been held, as the case may be.
Now as per the general circular issued by MCA dated 29.07.2016, companies can file Financial Accounts & Annual Return upto 29.10.2016 without payment of any additional fees, where Due date for holding AGM is on or after 01.04.2016.
