After strike off of Companies now the MCA has issued state-wise list of *Disqualified Directors*. The list is available on the website of MCA. The list specifies the following:
1. DIN of Director
2. Name of Director
3. Name of Company in which non-compliance has occured
4. CIN and status of Company
5. Under which section default has occured
6. Duration for disqualification of Director
It is to be noted that Director of those Companies which were struck off earlier because of non filings by ROC itself are also declared as disqualified.
Approx 55000 shell Companies were struck off earlier and now the list of disqualified directors is another hit which has covered approx 1,06,000 Directors. It is shocking that this list includes some famous names like V.K. Shashikala, Gulf based tycoon M.A. Yusufali etc.
The list is issued Disqualifying Directors under section 164 of Companies Act, 2013 and the Directors are disqualified for 5 years.
