SEBI to set new online system for monitoring Foreign Direct Investment in Indian listed Companies. New system will come into effective from May 1, 2018 in replace of existing system.
SEBI has also asked depositories to set necessary infrastructure and online device. Further, directed them to issue necessary circular to bring the new system into effective.
NSDL and CDSL to ask relevant documents from listed companies.
